What is PCBspecs?

Outsourcing and global purchasing is on everyone´s lips. Nevertheless this movement of production sites also holds problems – especially on data transfers, production files etc.

In an extensive survey on pcb layouters one noticed that the current methods of documents are very time consuming and inconvenient.New files and especially changes through third parties are very time and cost consuming.

In response to that dilemma we were focusing on the development of PCBspecs® and the aim to develop a flexible user- and producer independent system of documentation.

PCBspecs® offers you the possibility to draw up your pcb specification on a central server. The format guideline simplifies your internal and external source of error to an absolute minimum. It enables your internal specifications cross-company or cross departmental. A special logbook is saving all effected changes and even enables you to look at retroactive changes. It is possible to use this specification for your inquiry as well as the subsequent fixing of productionlines to a complete documentation up to a final production qc report, delivery notes etc.
